Michael Messer

Michael Messer was born in Lexington, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he received a BFA in sculpture and ceramics in 2015. He also attended Salem Art Works in the summer of 2016 as an intern resident artist, where he learned the art of woodfired ceramics. Michael has branched into commercial art as well, ranging from stickers to prints, to a publicly crowdfunded playing card deck distributed around the globe, which can be seen in the hands of Penn Jillette on CBS's "Code Black" in the episode titled "Sleight of Hand"
